1 tablespoon salt
2 tablespoons olive oil

1 tablespoon garlic powder (or 2 tbsp. minced garlic)
Rick sez: This dish is good for when you're waiting for a goddamn freelance check to arrive from some deadbeats, and you can't afford to buy a jar of Three Brothers pasta sauce at the 99 cent store. Cook the noodles in salted water until they are slightly underdone (I think this is referred to as al'dente, but I don't really know 'cause I don't speak Italian). Heat up the olive oil in a frying pan or wok, then throw in the spaghetti (along with the garlic, if you could actually afford to mince it fresh). Don't drain the noodles for too long; you want them just a little damp so they don't get all dried out. Toss 'em around for 3-5 minutes until it's all been lightly seared, then add the garlic powder (or minced garlic from a jar) and stir it in. Turn off the heat. Stir in the black pepper. Fried spaghetti goes well with a bottle of Jarritos brand grapefruit soda, or a tall glass of flat Pepsi on the rocks. Cheers.
